Vancouver is in a temperate rainforest, so we get a lot of rain, usually starting in November.
quiets everything down, the air is always fresh, and there's a beautiful monotone (green-grey) for months.
if you like bright and loud and sunny, you'd have a hard time in Vancouver from October through March, but if you like comfy and quiet and green and introspective, long walks with rain dripping from huge trees, everything green and grey and always fresh rain, it's great.
too bad the average house is over $2 million USD :(
