>>7722656I had to look this one up. The base model with a 2" barrel (appears to be the one in pic related) goes for just about $1000, before taxes and other licensing fees. There is a 3" barrel option that is considered "significantly" more accurate. I read a review where the guy shot a 1 1/2" group at 15 yards, which is almost stunning for a 2" barrel. Look at the barrel in the pic related and understand the 6-round group is three quarters of that length in diameter at almost 50 feet. If you were using a 15 meter distance (international standard) it would be all of 50 feet and probably the identical grouping. I think I need to go with "stunning" rather than "almost stunning."
The 9x19mm (or, more commonly known as 9mm Luger) is a weird semi-auto round for a wheelogun, but seems to be the perfect match for these precision barrels (which have an unusual, high precision rifling that Korth uses). This gun, BTW, is tested and certified for HP rounds (High Pressure, meaning with heavy, modern powder loads used in military sub-machine guns). Used with heavy grain bullets, such as 165 to about 190 grain, this is a beast of a little monster. 9mm Luger HP matches .40 S&W standard rounds and nearly gets up to .357 mag performance levels.
That little box on the side above the grip is an aftermarket mini laser sight (also offered by Korth) for about $200-ish. One speedloader comes with the base gun and more are available from Korth (they are a custom Korth design).
This would be very nearly the number one pick for a carry concealed self defense weapon, assuming you have about $1500 to invest for your base kit (including laser sight) and you can access affordable quantities of 9mm Luger HP rounds. Reviewer said the gun feels really light, but handles perfectly with one of the sweetest trigger pulls he's ever experienced. Easy to carry one in your boot and another somewhere else.
