I give you, the MAJESTIC, Douglas DC-3, also known during the second world war as the C-47 Skytrain, this aircraft has served virtually every purpose an aircraft could ever serve. From passenger airliner to military transport and paratrooper deployment aircraft to cargo operations and Holywoods Go-To aircraft for moody, cozy movies like Indiana Jones.
Outside of the 172 Skyhawk, if any plane at all, could even dare put it's finger on the title of most iconic plane ever, it would absolutely HAVE to be the DC-3. In fact, now that I think about it, the DC-3 should probably reign supreme.
