>>7767849Except they (NatSocs/Nazis) didn't do that. However much Josef Goebbels may have wanted an equitable economy and society, however much he may have reviled the marketism/capitalism, he was not in control nor ever going to be in control of the NSDAP. Hitler, Himmler, Bormann and others used the 'Socialist' label because they were describing the German race/racial stock. There is no such thing as the German race, nor has there ever been a German race, "German people" both then and now is a linguistic identification, not a racial one, though now it is a political identification - ie. whether one has citizenship in one of the constituent states of Federated Germany. Point is, Hitler was wrong in his ideas about a "German race", it was one of numerous myths he used. In his misconceptions, he thought the mythical German race was a social unit, any political movement upholding that social unit would therefore be "socialist". They stole the word "socialist" and misappropriated it for their own purposes. TIK is wrong about Nazi "socialism".
There's no further proof than the fact that the PNF (Mussolini's party) never described themselves as "socialist" or used that word. They weren't seeing the world in racial terms.
TLDR; "Racial socialism" is a myth made up by the Nazis that has nothing to do with "socialism" was it was understood by anyone else before or since.
