Retrofuturism is based on a established real life style, ported to some specific point of time, e.g. the 40s showing how planes will look around the year 2000. Solarpunk gives the vibe it's set anywhere from decades to hundred of years into the future, with a big focus on sustainability. Places are the very opposite of cyberpunk's big, crowded cities full of pollution.
