>>7873427>also how and why do you greentextone right arrow (a.k.a. the greater than symbol) before text is usually used to quote a line of text from another post, though some also use it to highlight their own text to try and make a point, the quoted/highlighted text then turns green in the submitted post, some people overuse this and greentext everything, some don't use it at all, and some only use it for the reasons mentioned above, seems to be a personal preference
