It is extremely good for gaming too, I have emulated hundreds of console games with 0 issues, and I have played over 300 steam games, more than half being triple A games. The only issues I ever ran into was Deceit having absurdly low fps, and Spore freezes randomly (though there's a fix for that, I just haven't had the time). Cry of Fear used to work great, I just need to tinker it again since I reinstalled it recently. TF2 used to work amazing until I recently moved it from my HDD to my new SSD. TLDR - it is absurdly rare to find games that won't run on Endeavor, even even then, there is always a fix (just not for Deceit).
Use protondb before buying a game, or if you run into issues with existing games. Endeavor constantly has very frequent updates and extremely good maitenance.
Unlike the inexperienced mint guy, I have been using Linux for years and will confirm Mint is a poor choice. It is not trash, but not something I'd ever recommend either. Fedora is ok. Endeavor has been extremely stable for me however.
I have no idea why the Mint guy said windows is better for games. Windows honestly could not run Bully for me at all, and I had lower fps for most games. Windows officially sucks for gaming these days. Everyone I know who still uses windows runs into issues with games more often than me.
