>>7870349It's basically a program to write in without distraction. Usually, taskbar etc is not visible, you only have the text box to write in. Menus slide in if you move your cursor to one of the screen sides.
I like using focuswriter because you can "design" your workspace a bit with a background, fonts, how big the text box is, where it's placed, if you want everythign blurred aside from the paragraph or line you're currently writing in, etc.
It's not for writing code, mind you.
