I work as a house painter. We were contracted to paint the inside of a house inside of which both the husband and wife had died recently. It was sort of a sad and morbid job, knowing what had taken place there. I was peeling tape and plastic in the stairwell. Somehow a blob of paint had gotten beneath it and dried. It was in the perfect shape of a bird! Then like 2 minutes after I uncovered it, the deceased homeowner’s sister (whom I had never met before) walked through the front door. I think the bird must have been the homeowner’s ghost’s way of announcing the arrival of her sister. I’m not normally at all superstitious. It was a really weird circumstance though. Thought I’d share it here. I scrubbed the bird off with a wet rag. May they rest in peace.
