>>7947474I moved to LA two years ago after growing up on the east coast and then living in Cleveland for a large chunk of time. Your sentiment of LA is what I would hear ad-nauseam about LA and California or that of those who travel there and only traverse places like Hollywood, downtown, and the areas around the airport and then leave. I was skeptical before moving here but I'll tell you as someone that's actually living here: all the shit you just said is so incredibly blown out of proportion. If you spend some time getting to know the city there are a lot of really really nice, clean, and safe neighborhoods, a shit ton of accessible but not overly congested beaches spanning from Orange County through and past Malibu, a plethora of mountains & hiking less than an hour from most places you'd live, a handful of national parks within 8 hours including areas that get snow for most of the winter including shit right in LA's doorstep, and an endless number of events, concerts, and similar things throughout the year. I've traveled around a large chunk of the city at this point and have pretty much never been accosted by a homeless person, been put in danger, or had to endure any prolonged periods of being in and around the shit you describe. There's more to the city than the airport and Hollywood you fucking knob, but what would you expect from the type of person who probably doesn't travel much and who lets seeing a few tents every week ruin his month. San Francisco is far more what you described than LA for what it's worth, but I bet I'd make the best of it if I had to live there too because I'm not some miserable raging basement-dwelling faggot. I'm going to drop a bunch of OC for OP and the others who aren't faggots like you that spew the same drivel other like-minded retards do who never actually take the time to learn and experience a place before forming an opinion. Going to drop pics of places that range from 5 minutes to an hour or two from the city.
