The outside wasn't much, but the inside was a complicated rube-goldberg assembly line machine to kill all the different livestock types and funnel everything into food chests.
For the cows I pushed them through the assembly line down a corridor with downard facing arrow traps. Pigs I pushed them out of a holding pen, up a chute, and then dropped them to their death. Chickens I funneled them all into a holding cell and then crushed them with pistons. Sheep I had them all in another holding cell and shot explosive splash potions at them. For all of them (except the cows), I opened up a hidden water source behind a piston wall to push all the drops out and onto ice so they zipped into sorted chests.
Not very efficient but it was fun to watch.
