and by 'leftist' I mean anyone who claims to be a socialist/marxist/communist/national socialist/globalist/modern liberal/etc. etc., i.e anyone whose politics are anywhere left of centre on the traditional political spectrum
and as for killing the planet, it's weird how the leftists continually bitch and whine and moan about fossil fuels and nuclear energy as being bad for the planet, and yet they keep pushing for more and more 'green' electric vehicles and wind turbines and solar panels, without pausing for so much as a fraction of one second to consider:
1: the amount of environmental destruction caused through the mining of the, in some cases highly toxic and/or dangerous, raw materials needed to produce all of those supposedly green things
2: that without fossil fuels (petrochemicals) creating all of those 'green' things would be very difficult or in some cases virtually impossible
3: that once constructed, most of the components in those 'green' things can't actually be fully recycled and thus can only be put in landfill sites thereby causing even more environmental destruction
4: that so-called 'green energy production' methods, i.e. solar/wind/wave, are all wholly incapable of meeting even current energy demand, such that even if we covered the entire planet in solar panels and wind and wave turbines, there still would not be enough energy produced to meet global demand.
5: that because of the inability for green energy production to even come close to meeting demand much less exceed it, electric vehicles either have to rely on electricity produced by fossil fuel and/or nuclear tech, or you maybe don't get to use your EV occasionally/at all.
