>>8043299Im tired of having this discussion at home my friend, so im not gonna have it with you. I have no idea how Trump turned out, i just said the campaign is similar: social media as a tool, the weird and outrageous statements that gather attention, the anti-politicians speach, etc.
I do not defend the previous regimes, peronistas are mostly corrupt, and they failed to understand the needs of the people. It was clear that a new administration was needed, with new fresh politicians.
The problem is the alternative, as much as i dont like the previous governments, i dont think Milei is a viable option. The model that he proposes has already been tried here, and it was devastating for the people. We have a very large percentage of the population in poverty, who's gonna build the roads in the Chaco if not for the state? This guy is making the state as little as possible, which means that the help these people were receiving (free healthcare, free primary and secondary schools, free university in one of the most prestigious universities in america, monetary help to people with kids, etc) is gonna be cut down. Those people are loosing rights, and they are not going to be better.
Maybe we didnt have another choice. People were fed up with the old school politicians, and the left in this country was killed during the last militar dictatorship, so the only new thing that managed to emerge out of the chaos was the far right. But i dont think hes gonna be a solution, on the contrary, we are just going to sell all state companies, loose control of our oil, loose control of our water, loose the rights over the lithium, enjoy our dollars for a while, and when they run out, go back to the shit hole.
