>>8068327>>8068338I don't know if the creator of these was trying to make a stereoscopic image, however as I understand it when trying to make stereoscopic images it's not as simple as just taking two images and putting them side by side. With fine stereoscopes the two images were taken with two different cameras side by side, then when viewed through crossed eyes your brain is able to reconcile the slight difference in angles into one image to create the illusion of three dimensions.
It's why the 3DS was able to make images with that slider. Because it had two cameras and digitally did the eye crossing for you on a sliding scale.
