She was a fictional character from The Tale of the Heike that was probably based on a real, unnamed random Onna-musha that the author personally knew.

Kind of how Yasuke was some dumb, inbred slave that fetched rice for his master and some storytellers with big imaginations wrote an entire bullshit saga about him because they thought a monkey wearing armor was funny.

Yeah because this is Otako Naoko of the Unicorn clan, some fan character from L5R made by Wibisono, one artist of the IP.

Tomoe Gozen, as the other anon said, is purely a character from Heike Monogatari, though attested women warriors did exist in Japan.
