Hello /Wsr/,
We recently launched our app to help runners find running partners nearby who run at the same pace and speed. We have 6k users, mainly in Europe atm.
To develop our app, we were outsourcing to a company but we want to internalize the development by recruiting a CTO. None of us in the team knows how to code, I'm starting to learn Java but it will take ages before I master it.
My requests are the following :
-which skills are absolutely necessary for our CTO ? He needs to be multi-task, both front-end (mobile development on iOs/Android) and back-end (manage the database, we are currently using MongoDB and Parse). In our job offer we wrote that he must master Java, Swift, MongoDB and SQL, but is it enough ?
-how can we make sure we find the right person for the job ? we were thinking of a small test, but none of us has the ability to evaluate how good a person is at writing code.
-if you could look at the code of the app and make a few recommendations/evaluate how structured the code is, that would be much appreciated !
App name is OuiRun, available on iOs and Android
Many thanks
