My internet is shite and it's really affecting my work as NPM/Yarn literally cannot function at times due to it's crippling speed. I'm looking for overkill ideas to get it quicker as my poorfag self can't afford quicker internet here. One idea was to copy that Google function that first fetches resources from the site I'd like to use before compressing the resources and sending the compressed shit to my clients, however I'm not too sure what the best way would be to set that up while not breaking any web protocols.

Any ideas?

I want to use my PC to host files and photos and be able to view them from anywhere, and after some searching, people recommended nextcloud.

However, the issue is that I've never used linux or have any experience with it. Is there a simple guide for an idiot like me to be able to set up one? I've tried to look one up myself, but every guide is completely different and some are older than others, and I'm not sure which one should I listen to.
