The quality of every board depends on the users of that board keeping the culture alive. You can't expect people to just stop being interested and give up on participating, but inevitably there will be those anons that leave for whatever reason. The beauty and value of anon is that everyone shows up for basically the same reasons and discusses things without caring who responds. People can come and go at their own pace, on their own schedules, and nothing really changes. There is no true userbase, there's just a bunch of anons that happen to be caring that day.
Rather than interacting with oldfags or newfags or OPs or anons or whoever, you're interacting with a series of behaviors that are either conducive to the given board or cancerous and destructive to it. You can either complain and give up or try to shitpost the newfags into being relevant. Either way, on any given day a board is either burning or decent. One board might burn consistently for months while an entirely different board thrives. Complaining, trying to shitpost newfags into leaving or otherwise trying to stop the userbase from changing do absolutely nothing to stop it from burning. To me it's always burning and that's neither a good thing nor a bad thing. It's just how 4chan works.
If anything, I'm trying to make is easier for newfags to get a handle on things so they don't shit up the board on arrival. If there's anything to be done to stop it all from burning, in my opinion, this is it.
But before any of that can become possible, long before any of that could be relevant or change the overall faggotry of newfags we'll need to actually discuss what makes each board's culture work. If you think this idea is destined to crash and burn, I need to understand why. I need to understand the specifics of how and why this would be terrible for your board. It starts with your concerns.
