>>1512828Well I'm back, it's been a fucking pain in the ass to do for some parts, removing the cover felt for sure like something was going to snap and the front panel felt like it wanted to come off but I couldn't figure out how so I had to just maneuver everything very carefully to disassemble it.
The fan / cooling problem is fixed I think, have left a game running for the last 10 minutes and it's not shut off. It'd better be fixed, spent a bunch of money and stabbed my finger for this.
Made sure to get every speck of dirt I could out of there while I was at it, the only thing left on the console now is a few scuff marks. Anybody know a way to do something about those, like a specific paint type to lightly apply to hide / remove them, or is it just fucked on that front? Since I've gone this far, might as well go all the way.
