>>1447974Link's Awakening with my first Zelda game and I remember it very vividly. Never finished it though, the copy I had couldn't save (I could hear the battery rattle around inside the cartridge) but I could get to the 2nd dungeon in under an hour if I tried. One memory I would always remember from that game was checking the map in the library (bottom left) and letting my mind fill in the blanks of what could possibly exist in this world I couldn't explore.
It's funny looking back, such a small map compared to today but back then it felt so huge.
