Dunno how true this is but I could imagine that someone would use bots to create and maintain generals just to contain unwanted posters. I could also see someone using bots on this site to test them out, or just to shitpost. Also I think either Russia or Ukraine and potentially both have sent bots to /k/ due to the increased traffic to the board for propaganda purposes.
