One time a friend of mine posted on /v/ when he was 16, used his email and called himself "(My name) Fanboy" then in the next post some guy just said "Hey buddy, this site isn't for 16 year olds and don't use your email in your name, retard" and started posting some pictures from his Facebook on that thread. I deleted the thread and nothing happened after that. Another time one of my others friends once posted a picture of me on /b/ and asked people to photoshop me, this was like 6 years ago or so and I've never seen it posted anywhere ever or people trying to find out anything about the pictures or person. Another time I acted like a newfag on /a/ once and someone found my twitter and posted it in the thread, literally nothing happened beyond people asking how he found it.
Just don't be pic related, and you'll be fine. If the thread is dead even better, you'll never see it again.
