I'm hoping for sometimes with a good plot though. Death Note was so much fun, thanks to how engaging the actual story is. I recently tried My Hero Academia, and the protagonist was repulsive so I stopped. I tried Hunter x Hunter recently too, but the story was barely there, so I stopped.
I'm not exactly asking for some super complex convoluted plot that requires a philosophy degree to comprehend. But just something that isn't complete fluff either.
