I recently updated my driver to Radeon 17.4.4 (AMD), and I've noticed on my monitor that in darker areas of pictures or videos there is a lot more pronounced pixelation than there was before.
I figured this was a brightness issue showing compression more clearly, but tinkering with both the gamma in the display colour configuration and the brightness settings on the monitor itself (manually pressing the buttons and adjusting it that way) have not relieved the issue without making the display too dark overall. It may also be a saturation issue, but I'm not sure how I can adjust this.
This was a clean install so I can't roll my driver back to see if that'd fix the issue either.
I'm on Windows 10 with an RX470 GPU.
