I also wish people would disagree with others recommendations. That could create more discussion and give people a more informed opinion on different opinions on anime. Discussion could also encourage people to keep an eye on /wsr/ and something to come back to.
During the very first time of /wsr/ there used to be a very short lived anime general, don't even know if it lasted multiple threads, and in that thread much work was done on this recommendation chart. It's a chart that can be used on top of the old charts that only cover up to 2010, so you get five more years worth of recommendations.
