If you want that kind of feel good/slice of life-y/"comfy" anime that has a similar feeling to Ghibli I could recommend:

Little Witch Academia (both the OVA and TV)
And Yet The Town Moves
Touch (while a sports romance, it's mostly spent doing thing that don't really revolve around baseball (school, homework, hanging out at home/ cafes/parks etc., drama between other characters, other characters lives etc.) Only around 30-40 episodes end up focusing entirely on baseball in the whole 101 episode run. Dunno if you'd like it but I thought I'd throw it out there)
