>>703790I don't know the status of this request. But when I download videos from youtube (or most other sites) I use a command line program called "youtube-dl". If you check out my attached image you will see that I used two commands. The first one lists all of the formats available for the given video (--list-formats), you can see that youtube has both mp4 and webm containers available for viewing (downloading). The second command downloads the given video using the specified format (--format 18) where "18" is the mp4 container with the dimensions 480x360. You will notice I could have also selected "43" which is a "webm" format.
I know there is a GUI front-end for youtube-dl. But I have never used it. For more info on the CLI program check out:
