When you take a screenshot, it's in PNG and it has perfect colors compared to what you're seeing.
When you save it as JPG, the size drops but the quality is slightly lost.
If you keep saving in JPG several times over, it becomes blurry and ugly.
Basically, these 30GB versions are an attempt to preserve as much as possible of the original quality.
Lots of retards don't really understand the benefits and just download the biggest size possible because big = good.
For most people, the quality between a decently-compressed video and a "lossless" BRip is unnoticeable. But if people keep reconverting from a lossy format, things start to look deep-fried.
Lots of retards will also download 1080p movies that are very tiny in filesize, meaning the "JPG" compression is so strong that watching a low-res, but decently compressed version might have been better.
Just get a h265 for a good balance of quality x filesize, whenever possible.
