I have an issue with an LG monitor (Model # 38UC99-W) that I received a while back. It had cost quite much back then, but one day the screen just became corrupted to a point where it was just tough to use for work. I assume it must have been the cleanup crew who had inadvertently sprayed cleaning solution, which may have gotten inside the crevices and into the circuitry of the monitor. I personally won’t know until I check inside, unless anyone can confirm which part(s) are affected, and if it can be self-repaired for a fair price (preferably without any soldering of any sort). I could just take it to a “registered” repair center, but the closest and virtually only one available has had the worst track record of quality repair reviews I’ve ever seen.
Pic related; here's how the screen looks after every other second, where it will snap to one of 4 different corrupted visuals in each interval. Any advice is highly appreciated!
