Firstly there were a shitton of youtube channels that were just weeb/vocaloid videos like this around that time period.
Secondly, these videos would often be uploaded by the user and if they were deleted, they wouldn't be found anywhere else besides their singular hard drive. A lot of this type of stuff was taken down often when google started chasing copyright issues.
The individual songs themselves would still probably exist elsewhere but if a channel is taken down then that's the end of it most likely unless an autist had a copy on their harddrive backed up somewhere.
