Look at the massive balls on this tanuki, basically the mascot of old japan, and tell me that the japanese are prudish. They have fucking penis festivals!
So why is every protagonist in every anime afraid of sex? Or, when there is sex, why is it such a big deal? Sometimes people just fuck, no big deal, but rather a nice thing that two people can enjoy, and including that would add a lot of depth to most anime.
I have yet to find a single one that presents a balanced, healthy portrayal of sex, and I hope this thread goes somewhere.
