I'd strongly recommend the Lord of the Rings trilogy if you haven't watched it yet. If you like movies like Hot Fuzz, you've probably also already checked out other Edgar Wright movies, so I'd recommend Snatch. Other movies I'd recommend are Matrix, 12 Monkeys, and The Shawshank Redemption. Call me a normie, but I really liked them.
I also really like the Monty Python skits and movies, especially Monty Python and the Holy Grail. It was just really funny, many iconic scenes.
As for tv shows... I haven't really watched many. Perhaps Twin Peaks or Rick and Morty? I thought they were pretty funny too. If you like musicals, maybe also Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and Flight of the Conchords.
You could also check out some documentaries, like HBO's Chernobyl, Dirty Money and (Un)well. Or Planet Earth, Human Planet and Frozen Planet if you like nature and stuff.
