Unironically, pray to God. Now for the secular help:
1.) Put ice to reduce swelling.
2.) Massage damaged area to get the blood flowing.
3.) Sleep, that's how you're body repairs itself.
4.) Don't be quick to jump back into dynamic activities: you'll make things worse if you're too hasty. Go slow.
5.)Stay away from meds, go natural. Synthetic over the counter meds temporarily alleviate the pain, but they will never solve the problem.
