Cooperate with your teammates if you deploy in squads. Most of the time it will be incredibly difficult or impossible to finish a mission/objective solo.
Find some weapons you prefer, and get good with them before moving on. Especially true for the earlier weapons you will get, since they introduce the stronger weapons further into your progression.
And lastly, just have fun! We always welcome more reinforcements in the name of Liberty!
