>>610729If you do this your PC will be cheaper, but also larger and noisier, mainly because it's using a generic case that's sized to accept generic components, you're routing cables that are a generic length not designed to exactly fit the case, and using a generic heatsink and fans not designed to go with the case.
A high-end prebuilt PC will have the same performance in a smaller, quieter, less-obtrusive case, because all the components have been sized to fit the case, and the heatsinks fans motherboard and airflow have all been designed to cool the thing efficiently and quietly.
If you're not fucked about that kind of thing then great. Choice is a good thing.
