>>853114Not that anon, but before you go please try not to get spoiled on Ghost Trick. Also, if you end up liking it, you can try and play the other series made by the same writer, Ace Attorney. It's a Point and click VN/Puzzle game where you play a lawyer who has to solve murder cases by searching crime scenes, cross examining witnesses and presenting evidence to prove your client innocent. First three games are on Steam, but if you don't wanna pay for them they can be played on the DS. Here's a link to the first three (in order since they form a trilogy), they can be used on the emulator the other anon gave you.

>IconoclastsPlays similar to Cave Story and has a decent story too. On Steam and mulitple consoles.
>Metroid FusionWhile knowledge of the other games is recommended, it's not needed since it explains what happened. Similar to Cave story in gameplay it's a lot more exploration focused though. It's mostly gameplay with story thrown in at certain points. On GBA.
>Return of the Obra DinnYou play a man tasked with finding out what happened to a ship that had a mutiny by seeing the last moments of every crew members dead body you can find. Puzzle type game where you piece the story together. On Steam and mulitple consoles.
>Hotel Dusk: Room 215 You play a ex-cop salesman who stays at a Hotel and attempts to work out what kind of secrets it and the residents hold. Might be hard to play without a physical DS since you have to hold it sideways but you can give it a try. VN/Puzzle game
>Advance Wars: Days of RuinYou play a young man who survived the destruction of earth from meteors only to be caught up in a small war by the survivors that escalates as the game goes on. Turn based strategy game for the DS. Can get a little bit difficult due to the nature of the game but it's worth a shot anyhow.
