How does the posts get numbered?
Is this a counter for all 4chan or does each board gets its own counter?
Some boards get post numbers on 8 digits (/g/ [s4s] /r9k/ /fit/ ...)
/b/ gets 9 digits
smaller / newer boards (/3/ /po/ /news/ ...) gets 6 digits
Searching a post in the archive can be done by post number, so it is likely that the counter is shared across all boards to prevent duplicate number, but each board seems to increment by 1 after the most recent post like the GET on r9k
