I'm working off a cloned copy of an 8.1 N upgrade to 10 from an X3450 to an i5 4570k to an i7 4790 to a 3900X with never a bluescreen outside of obvious hardware faults due to overclocking. While I've had feature updates fail multiple times requiring the upgrade assistant tool months later to finally make it through, they always rolled back perfectly while it was trying.
It is problem-free as far as stability and security is concerned. I just wish it was as snappy on a 12 core 32GB/SSD system as XP is on a dual-core 2GB 80GB HDD one. XP is just so goddamn fast.
