hi anons
idk if im on the right board, whatever. so i need some help, plox.
about me
it is 2023 now and my pc is 8 years old, my cpu is 11 years old (fx8350). i have 35 fps in cyberpunk and still use binbows 7.
now i want to upgrade (complete new build) and i cant decide between an i5 13600kf and a ryzen AM5 cpu. (note i dont care for the brand, i just care for the price and performance). they are somewhat the same price and somewhat the same performance. intel is cheaper bcus one can use the older boards (lga1700) with ddr4. but amd am5 is more futureproof but bcus of ddr5 only, more expensive, mobos, too.
as graphics card im going to reuse my gtx 1080ti (which is fairly new, 6 months running)
i dont want to pay more than 800€ and i can build it together by my own, means i will get the parts individually.
i heard that in Q1 2023 intel and amd will anounce new cpus? or even release them to buy?
i seek to build the last pc; after this pc i will stop using the pcs/internet and sell it all and return to normal lifestyle. i want the most powerfull cpu so that the only bottleneck is my gtx or future graphics cards.
as os i think ghost spectre is nice. (ofc i would like to stay with my win7 ult but that doesnt seem to work on the new cpus, tho i read that some ryzen cpus still support win7, if your mainboard has PS/2)
workload will be everything, since with my current cpu i do everything (rendereing, office, bruteforce, gaems, music, photo/videos)
the current pc my dad and i built together, so when i have my new pc i want to gift him this old pc. (hes using some really old shitty hardware from like 2009)
should i wait or buy? regarding taiwan ect ect.
any ideas? thanks in advance
and thanks for reading my blog
