>>903252Alright, I realize I just posted a picture and never really explained in words what I wanted. *sigh*.... I really got to work with my conversational skills.
Okay, basically what I want is for my Windows 10 Taskbar to show the buttons of open programs but never combine them in groups, and always hide their names/labels. That means when I open multiple instances of one program, let's say, 2 Notepads/2 txt. files, each of them will show as a button but will not combine, where you have to hover the cursor on top of their unified icon to choose which one of them to open when you switch to one of them, but I also do not want to see their names/labels on the taskbar. I want the 2 Notepad instances to have a single button each, but not show their names/labels.
It saves space on the taskbar but still make programs accessible and it makes switching to programs quicker.
I had this with Windows 8.1 with a simple registry edit and it works flawlessly. You want 3 Firefox windows but don't want to join them as tabs? Boom. Easy. You can have them all in the background and can easily open them with no delay compared to hovering your cursor then choosing up which window you want to open. You want 8 Folders open while you're moving stuff? You got all the space in the world. Or in your Taskbar at least. Ctrl+C Ctrl+V all you want, then switch to any folder almost instantaneously. No need to Alt+Tab your way to frustration.
I will never understand why Microsoft will not implement this natively on Windows. Is it too weird of a preference and am I just being weird?
