I'm sure you know this and you're just upset, same as myself, but some things just do not translate from one language to another and must be localized, especially for Japanese where some things have a billion different meanings and/or heavily rely on the context of the sentence/situation.
Thus, why translators are given a lot of freedom when doing this stuff. Best option is to just start learning Japanese, so you don't need to deal with this shit anymore.

And fansubs aren't exactly a thing anymore, outside of anime that either don't get picked up officially, which is pretty rare these days, or they're picked up my Netflix and aren't a Netflix original, meaning it releases in Japan, but doesn't have official subs for 6-9 months.
