I'm completely new to linux so I tried Mint booting it up from an usb stick, I really liked it but no matter how I install it or how I set the partitions (I even googled how to install mint with pictures this shit isn't even hard for fuck's sake), it wont mark itself as
bootable, fdisk -l gives me
http://i.imgur.com/QnkWc6p.png Apparently grub2 not being installed is the problem but trying to install it just tosses me into a loop of tiring errors starting with "Failed to get canonical path of /cow" which is total bullshit since in all the guides I've seen the guy only clicks and type shit and it gets done.
What the fuck am I doing wrong?
