I really like Lupin and especially The Castle of Cagliostro, yet only recently I discovered that a French version of the main theme, "Fire Treasure", exists. I found about it after seeing this video

The uploader claims that this version plays in the German VHS version of the movie, not even the French one, and in the comments says that Goemon was completely cut from the movie.
Why has nobody uncovered this version in so long? The video in question is really recent and nothing else can be found online about it. Why was the German version allegedly so heavily edited/censored to the point of removing Goemon? Even the clip in the video seems to have cut off the real ending, ending instead with them hugging rather than the final chase scene with Zenigata.
Was hoping that someone here may know something about it/has seen the German VHS
