Depends on what exactly you mean by "low-spec", but the many console emulators net you thousands of games. The Zelda and Pokemon games are a good start. The better your CPU, the newer you can go. My other recommendations would be Factorio, Mini Car Racing, the various 2D Worms games and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl (CS and CoP too, but they're much more demanding, relatively speaking).
