https://www.cpubenchmark.net/your cpu gets around 1000 points. That is pretty bad. You need to be around 2000 for it to be comfy for basic desktop stuff and even then it will be kinda crappy. Install the system monitor on your taskbar so you can see when your ram is filling up because you only have 4 gigs (picrel). Just right click on your taskbar and add system load monitor or whatever it is called on your distro. If it fills up it will use hard drive swap space which slows everything down to a crawl. I use xubuntu on all my crappy old computers. wine should work on any linux but it wont make anything run faster.
