>Why use it as opposed to other forums?Anonymous BBSs are the pinnacle of online human interaction. I use other boards, I use chat type services like Discord and IRC, and I have a Twitter to shitpost and get news, but I don't feel the need to use heavier social media or other forums. They don't appeal to me at all, they feel like bringing real life into the online world and they're often bogged down with ads and eye candy.
