>>1083657I'll try to answer in less mainstream manner but it's a valid answer because even if you don't believe it, many people do and some of them are in positions of power and influence.
Aside from "global" meaning "total", "worldwide" it's also a belief that people must be managed and stopped from depleting finite resources from a spherical object flying through "space".
This is a lie. We're not living on a globe. We also don't live on a disc, donut, "hollow" Earth or in a matrix simulation. Our realm is a layer, one of many. One can argue our "midgard" layer is infinitely wide and there are infinite number of layers but it's irrelevant because we can never explore them.
Globalism is about management of caged field when in fact the cage is not only open but imaginary. On many levels people feel it's not right - maybe we have access to morphogenetic fields of information, maybe it's in our DNA, maybe we can communicate with spirits, idk. Some never ask questions about nature or meaning of life or are satisfied with dogmatic nonsense. Most are capable to admitting we don't know a lot and most knowledge will never be ours to get.
To illustrate how we're not living on a "globe" look at this experiment - "gravity" can be a factor but it's not even necessary. Relative buoyancy is the true nature of all substances and it defines weight perfectly.
