How much time do you think you spend on your computer or electronic devices?
If you want to gain some focus you probably want to limit yourself from these devices. When I was a kid I didn't have that much exposure to electronics. I don't think I even had a TV in my room. I would just sit around and draw for entertainment. Also you dont have to finish a drawing in a single sitting you can always go back to a drawing.
There are art styles that don't really require that much skill you can probably try.

Look into minimal art design. Maybe you are just setting your goals way too high for your limitations. Some people use art as a way to communicate themselves. I think for me art was just a meditation, I would just get lost in drawing and forget all my problems.
