Op here - I think convincing her is a lost cause. To give some context, my sister is 8 years older and a member of the canadian liberal party. We are both immigrants from the former soviet union. Although we were both raised in the same conditions we often disagree on a lot of things.
side note - I'm from /k/. I don't like to be too involved with politics but when I am it always seems like I'd be the opposite of my sister in terms of values.
