>>982323>>982341>>982343I greatly appreciate it Anons; I'll have to start with the lecture tomorrow perhaps, and then figure out how to begin.
fwiw, the things I liked about the series I've seen so far are this:
1) Death Note - I enjoyed the cat and mouse situation until L died....then it wasn't great after that, but I could forgive them for it because the bar seemed to be set high.
2) Steins;Gate was probably the most impactful of any of them to me. Emotionally it was remarkable.
3) Cowboy Bebop; I remember being disappointed, but the music was great.
4) NGE: I'll probably need to rewatch it; I didn't know what it was trying to do until about halfway through...and then in some ways it's a little too late.
5) FMA - Enjoyable, but in a cosy way.
6) LGH - Fucking awesome....to the point where I missed characters when they died.
I guess I just enjoy things that are 'familiar', which means I gravitate to the character driven stories where character development takes place in a well-paced way. That's probably why I didn't like Beserk so much...the character development was somewhat predictable to me.
Anyway, thanks for your thoughts! You guys are awesome!
